Agrasen Ki Baoli, A Haunted Historical Site in Delhi
Agrasen ki Baoli is a popular tourist attraction in Delhi and one of the protected monuments by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Besides this, this place is also widely known as one of the most haunted places in Delhi and around the country. A lot of people have reported this spot as one of the scariest places in Delhi which you should avoid to visit after late evening. A large number of paranormal activities experts have also reported this place as one of the most haunted places in Delhi.
A Haunted Step Well
Agrasen ki Baoli is actually a step-well built by the legendary king Agrasen during the Mahabharat epic era. However, the step-well was re-built in the 14th century by the Agarwal community which traces its origin to Maharaja Agrasen.
According to belief, the step well will encourage you to commit suicide and find the peace. A lot of people have committed suicide in this place. It is believed that the water is hypnotized and you would fall in their trap to commit the suicide.
Popular Spot for Suicide
Many people have committed suicide intentionally or unintentionally in this place. Intentionally means, they have committed suicide as per their wish and unintentionally means the water in the baoli attracted them to commit the suicide for no reasons.
The water in the tank of Baoli is not deeper and no one can commit suicide in it. However, if someone falls in the tank and do not stand-up, then it would be difficult to take breadth and hence he/she would die.
So, be aware of this place when you visit it. Most Haunted Places Blog recommends you to do not visit this place during midnight or after late evening.
