A Family Committed Suicide

Property is always a matter of fight in many countries around the world. An elderly couple, Shri Vasudeo Dalal and Tara Dalal committed suicide from this tower on June 14, 1998 as they were tortured emotionally by their own son and daughter-in-law over the property matter. A suicide note was written by elderly couple and mentioned the reason.

Mumbai Police arrested the couple on the basis of suicide note written by elderly couple. The long trial was started then, and ended on March 28, 2005. The couple along with their 19 year old daughter committed suicide by jumping off from the same floor, same balcony and at the exact same spot.

About 20 People Committed Suicide from the Grand Paradi Towers, Mumbai

Did you know? About 20 people have committed suicide by jumping off from the various balconies of the towers. Due to these scary experiences and incidents, the Grand Paradi Co-operative Housing Society sought a counseling session from Counseling and Suicide Prevention Centre (CASP), attended by over 100 residents.

Towers Was Built on Burial Ground

According to local people, the Grand Paradi Towers were built on a former land of burial ground. Many dead bodies were moved from this place to elsewhere while laying the foundation of these three buildings. A few people have also complained that, they have heard the voice of invisible forces. These invisible forces advice the house owner to commit suicide by jumping off from the tower.
